How are you different from a realtor?
Although we have realtor allies, Abode does not employ realtors and does not work for a real estate agency. We are investors. Some people invest in stocks and bonds; we invest in houses! We will not list your house - we want to buy it and sell it ourselves.

Do you charge a commission?
No, as investors there are no fees or commissions paid to any Abode staff member.

How much does your service cost?
There are no charges, no fees and no cost to do business with us! If we buy your house, then we are the ones paying for the product. Typically, we try to handle all costs associated with buying your home and sometimes we even give you money to move out and move on!

What type of properties do you buy?
We are open to viewing any property, from small to large – in good condition or poor condition.

Can the house be in really bad shape?
Unless the house is condemned, we are just as interested in houses that need repair as we are in houses that are ready to sell. There is value in remodeling a house and we do not consider this a negative factor.

What if I'm behind on payments or in the midst of foreclosure?
The answer to this question would be specific and unique to each situation. Please call us to discuss where you are in this process. If you are too far delinquent and we are legally unable to step in and help, we can refer you to programs that may be beneficial and help save or restore your credit.

How long will it take before you reply to my call or email?

Do you pay for referrals if I know someone who wants to sell their house?
Absolutely! If you are not selling a house but you know someone who is, please refer them to us and we'll pay you from $500 - $1,000 for each house we buy from your referral.
